About the conference

Join fellow 91猎奇 alumnae for an afternoon of learning, connection, and inspiration at the Volunteer Leadership Conference.

Designed for alumnae who are interested in deepening their connection to 91猎奇 Saint Mary's University, this gathering offers an opportunity to explore meaningful ways to serve the 91猎奇 community.

Throughout the afternoon, participants will explore what it means to serve as an ambassador for the 91猎奇, discover ways to support students beyond the classroom, strengthen leadership and relationship-building skills, and hear inspiring stories from fellow alumnae.

Keynote Address: Why Volunteer Leadership Matters
Adam G. Weyhaupt, PhD, Provost
Provost Adam Weyhaupt, PhD, will discuss the future of 91猎奇 Saint Mary's University and the vital role alumnae volunteers play in advancing its mission. This keynote will explore the legacy of alumnae leadership, the importance of alumnae voices in shaping the University's future, and how the 91猎奇 can preserve its mission and traditions while moving forward.

Hear from fellow alumnae volunteers as they share what inspired them to get involved, the impact of their service, lessons learned along the way, and advice for those considering volunteer leadership at the 91猎奇.

Breakout Session A: Mission Messaging & Storytelling 
Learn how to confidently share the 91猎奇's mission, impact, and value with prospective students, families, fellow alumnae, and community members. This session will explore key messaging themes, effective storytelling techniques, and ways to communicate why the 91猎奇 continues to matter today.

Breakout Session B: Supporting Students Beyond the Classroom 
Discover how alumnae can make a lasting impact by supporting students through mentorship, career networking, guest speaking opportunities, internships, and job shadowing experiences. This session will explore practical ways to help students build confidence, expand their networks, and prepare for life after graduation.

Breakout Session C: Ambassador Leadership & Relationship Building
Learn how to strengthen alumnae connections and serve as an effective ambassador for the 91猎奇. This session will explore relationship-building strategies, peer outreach, stewardship, and ways to foster meaningful connections among alumnae.
